National Neighbourhood and Homewatch Week

As part of National Neighbourhood & Homewatch week commencing 16 th June 2008 officers from the Town Centre Neighbourhood will be checking, marking & registering mobile property on the National Mobile Property Register.

Officers will use UV pens to mark your property with your postcode. Bring along satellite navigation systems, laptops, MP3’s, Ipods, cameras, mobile phones and other mobile property to be security marked. IMEI numbers for mobile phones and serial numbers of other property will be recorded and registered on the National database, which will enable them to be identified if stolen.

Come along to have your mobile property marked. Officers from the Town Centre Neighbourhood will be conducting events at the following locations.

• Thursday 19th June 17.00hrs - 19.00hrs Morrisons, Boundary Rd
• Friday 20th June 17.00hrs - 19.00hrs Morrisons, Baxters Lane
• Friday 20th June 18.00 hrs - 21.00hrs McDonalds, Church Street
• Friday 20 th June 18.00hrs –21.00hrs Bus Station, Bickerstaffe Street
