Personal Safety
Merseyside Police has teamed up with St Helens College and Sure Start to run a multi-agency personal safety event on Tuesday, 17 June 2008. The event will take place on Water Street in the Town Centre (opposite Colours Restaurant) between 11.00 am and 2.00pm.
Representatives from Merseyside Police will be on hand to provide personal safety advice to ensure the summer months can be enjoyed in safety. In addition, recruitment packs and information relating to the Special Constabulary and Home Watch will be available.
Partner agency representatives will be on hand to provide information relating to drug and alcohol awareness, teenage pregnancy, healthy lifestyles and anti-social behaviour.

Community Support Officer Anne Carrera from the Town Centre Neighbourhood commented "This is a fantastic opportunity to receive a wealth of information about a range of topics. Why not come along and meet your local officers, talk about local issues and receive invaluable advice on things to do over the summer months and how you can ensure your children are safe whilst out and about?"
