Foster Care Fortnight 2010

17th- 30th May is Foster Care Fortnight 2010

Foster Care Fortnight is a nationwide campaign that takes place every year to highlight the need for more foster carers.

St Helens Council are kick- starting Foster Care Fortnight 2010 with a massive balloon launch event. We will be releasing 350 balloons to symbolise each child in our care, and our hope that they will flourish.

The event will take place outside the Town Hall on Monday 17th May 2010 at 11am.

We are encouraging all foster carers to attend, and hope that members of the public and prospective carers will come and help us celebrate fostering!
