Safe at Central

St Helens Council is helping to mark UK Older People’s Day (Friday, 1 October) with a special event at Central Library.

Between 10.30am and 12.30pm, visitors will be able to take advantage of a one-stop shop aimed at making people feel safe within their community.

As well as the council’s Home Safety Section, advice will be available from Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire Service, the Crime Reduction Unit and the Neighbourhood Watch Service.
