Treasure Hunt Success for residents

More than 120 residents – making up 27 teams – found their way to a fun-packed afternoon at Moss Bank’s first annual treasure hunt.

They gathered clues from across the estate before meeting at Park Farm ACYP Centre’s Open Day for the presentation of certificates and prizes by the Deputy Mayor Cllr Linda Maloney and Boots, the Saints Mascot.

The route took in Moss Bank Children’s Centre, Moss Bank Library, Windermere Field and Kentmere Park - picking up clues and taking part in activities from organisations including Helena Partnerships, Rangers, Activate Play, Fire Service, Credit Union and the Recycling Team.

The event was organised by St. Helens Council’s Library Service and Neighbourhoods Team, in partnership with local community and voluntary groups and agencies working in Moss Bank and supported by Safer Communities.

The event was also supported by a number of businesses/organisations including Lymewood Farm, Moss Bank Graphics, Pasha Pizza, Estilo Hair Design, Carr Mill Hotel, Marita’s Flowers, St Helens Credit Union, Sunkissed Tanz, Knowsley Safari Park, World of Glass, Park Inn, Cineworld, Rumble Rumble, Darkstar, Everton FC, CMCTRA, Haydock Park Racecourse and local supermarkets.
