High-visibility wristbands are already helping many young people in St Helens to stay safe during the darkest days of winter.
The bands are being handed out to youngsters at various events by St Helens Council, Merseyside Police, re:new and other Community Safety Partnership organisations.
Councillor Sue Murphy, Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods, Safer Communities and Youth said: “The aim is to keep young people safe over Christmas and throughout the rest of the winter period.
