Crime and ASB what do you think?

St. Helens Council, Merseyside Police, and their Community Safety Partners, want to know what you think about crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour in St. Helens.

The annual Safer Communities Survey, which aims to gauge residents’ priorities in the areas where they live, can be completed online this month (January) on the council’s website.

The aim of the survey is to identify how safe residents in St. Helens feel, whether or not anti-social behaviour is a problem in their area, and whether residents feel well-informed about crime and disorder and the work being done locally by Community Safety Partners.

Councillor Sue Murphy, Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods, Safer Communities and Youth said: “We’d encourage residents to help us by competing the survey.

“We want to know what the issues are which affect St. Helens residents. Feedback from the survey will be used to shape our priorities and determine the best action - helping us to continue to reduce crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour in St. Helens in the year ahead.”

For those without internet access – a ‘quick poll’ version of the survey will be sent out to residents inside the January edition of the council’s St Helens First magazine.
