Police Authority public meetings
Merseyside Police Authority is holding a series of open public meetings across Merseyside in the coming weeks to discuss proposed changes, current financial challenges, and opportunities for collaboration.
Those who attend will get up-to-date information on the work being done to make over £61m savings in the next four years. Also on the agenda are details of a number of collaboration projects with other police authorities and forces in the North West, which aim to provide better and more cost-effective policing.
The meetings will take place on Tuesday 9th August 2011 at 7pm at St Helens Town Hall, Victoria Square, St Helens, WA10 1HP.
