Concerns over gully thefts.

St.Helens Council is asking people to be on their guard after a spate of gully cover thefts in the last few days.

Several metal gullys covers have been stolen from Rainhill, Thatto Heath, and Sutton and the Council is asking help from local people in reporting any missing gullys and also to be on the lookout for anyone seen taking them.

The thieves are putting people at risk by stealing the gullys.  The Council asks if anyone sees someone taking them they can report the details in confidence to the Council’s Contact Centre on 01744 456789 or report it to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
